A young American rapper Lil Woofy Woof (aka Young Dazzie) from Charlotte, NC has been known to us for a while, mostly thanks to the French producer CARTELSONS, who produced his 1st full-length album “Back In Tha Dayz” & released in CD format in 2016. Now, they’re both back with 2nd solo album of Lil Woofy Woof: Night Ride. This time it was also completely produced by CARTELSONS and features Bad Azz, Tha Chill (CMW), Nuelife aka Lo Life (5th Ward Boyz), Aloe Jo’el, Wary, Gyovanni, Half Deezy, Billy Cook, Talent…
We had a chance to speak to the latter regarding this album and working with Lil Woofy Woof, and this is what he said: “Woof is one of the best talented artist I have worked with. He got it as a don and he make me think about those westcoast legends like back in the days. I’m an oldies lover, I mean, I always listen some old soulful and blues music and I was like “why we don’t make another album but always with old school sample?”. So I started working on it, went into my samples folders and began making music. I used some beats I made in the past that fit 100% with the mood. Woof agreed and we start working like that.”
This album got released in CD format on July 19th as very limited pressing of 200, though on real pressed (replicated) CD’s (not duplication/CD-R’s), so if you’re buying it, you’re getting the real deal!
If you have been following with us, you should be already familiar with Laidback Black – a g-funk rapper from Poznan/Poland: G-Funk.WS Label released 2 solo albums of his in CD format: “Galaktyka Funku” and “G-Funk Era 4ever“. At the same time, he’s part of FUNKCHILLAZ, a g-funk group from Poland, which also includes Izabella (vocals), MC ILLO (rap), Pastor (rap), Nicole Funk (talkbox), Pele (rap) and Mia (vocals). This summer FUNKCHILLAZ dropped their much-anticipated “Mood In Da Hood” album, which is a real dope summertime g-funk flavored with some female singing & talkbox. Same as it was the case with the 2 above-mentioned albums of Laidback Black, “Mood In Da Hood” was fully produced by RTN, the talented g-funk beatmaker from Poland.
The album was released in CD format, real pressed CD’s (not CD-R’s) but in very limited numbers, with only 100 copies going for selling. Soon this will be a rare CD so don’t miss you chance and holla at LAIDBACK BLACK directly or buy it from ALAMEDA RECORDS (Japan).
After coming with his solo album “Hustle Life” only a year ago, now Rekta is back with another dope release, this time it’s “Boyz N The Hood” Mixtape, which sound more like a proper album, however, since, in addition to some original tracks, it has a lot of remixes on his previously made tracks a DJ intro, the artist decided to call it Mixtape. However, as our opinion, it does sound like an album and not just an average one but the real solid release that he dropped for his fans worldwide. This is the extremely dope release from start to finish, not having a single track which you could feel you might wanna skip.

There’s really no need to introduce Sovan aka Sick–So-Vizz (a French producer) to many of you, though he might be also known for some of you as one half of VS Productions. Being a native of Saint Quentin commune in France, he decided to record a compilation with the French artists who came from the same area in France: Saint Quentin Chroniques. It turned out to be a dope 15-song compilation album solely produced by Sovan.
It’s been released in CD format, with the discs housed in cardboard sleeves, however they’re the real pressed CD’s. Peep the album teaser below and go to Sick-So-Vizz Bandcamp for your digital or hardcopy shipped anywhere in the world by the artist himself. Don’t take your time as it’s the limited pressing of 300 copies for the whole world.
Marking it the 11th CD release, the “unstoppable” Diggy Down Recordz label released today Mr. Skinny - Uncharted Waters (Trey Way), their first ever G-Funk album. Mr. Skinny is a west coast rapper from Paramaunt, CA. He grew up playing drums in church at 5 years old. Since music had a special place in his heart, he started rapping, scratching records, writing songs and singing in a church choir at a young age. He literally tried it all, but now, as he got himself developed into a rap artist, he tries not to sound like everyone, which his rap influences are 2Pac, NWA, Ice Cube, Scarface, Nas…
